Troubleshooting

Try these checks before reporting an issue. Include the exact command or recipe, what you expected, and what happened instead.

A BreweryX recipe did not work

  • Check every ingredient and quantity against the recipe index.
  • Confirm the boiling time; cooking time is measured in real minutes.
  • Check whether the recipe requires distillation, and use the correct number of runs.
  • Check whether the recipe requires a barrel, specific wood and ageing time.
  • Remember that custom recipes can replace or disable upstream defaults.

The drink quality is poor

Review timing and processing accuracy. A recipe with a high difficulty rating requires more precise brewing. Check whether all required stages were completed in the correct order.

An ingredient is not recognised

Some recipe ingredients are custom items supplied by BreweryX or another plugin. For example, the default Gin recipe references blue-flowers, which may depend on the custom item configuration. Ask staff whether that item exists on this server.

A command says “no permission”

The command may be staff-only, disabled, or missing from your permission group. Do not repeatedly try administrative commands; ask a moderator to check the relevant permission node.

MarriageMaster feature is missing

  • Check the command help with /marry.
  • The server may have disabled the feature in its configuration.
  • Some features require Vault, an economy provider or a compatible backpack plugin.
  • Marriage requests, divorce and teleporting may have range, confirmation or priest requirements.

What to include in a support ticket

  1. Your Minecraft username.
  2. The command or recipe you used.
  3. Ingredients and timing (for brewing).
  4. The exact error message, if one appeared.
  5. A screenshot if it helps explain the issue.
